The Colossi of Memnon
The two sculptures of Pharaoh Amenhotep III's (1386-1350 BC) Colossi of Memnon are constructed of quartzite and are the last remnants of his disappearing mortuary complex.

Karnak Temple
The Karnak Temple Complex is a blessed archaeological destination built on 247 acres over 1500 years from the Middle Kingdom (2000-1700 BCE) through the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305-30 BCE) to serve as a center for religious activity in ancient Egypt. It is the world's largest open-air museum, housing the Great Hypostyle Hall, several Amun-Re and Mut precincts, and many other attractions.
